7″ x 7″ oil on gessoed paper mounted on board. Painted in the studio in natural morning light. Yes, this is a can of Canada Dry Ginger-ale. The title reflects the advertising jingle that I grew up with… I don’t drink soda, but there is lots of soda at my house. I found the matchbox car in the garden and cleaned it up and put it painted it.
Framed in a maple wood floater frame. The inside of the frame, and the edge of the panel are painted black to give the illusion of floating.
