Landscapes

Painting plein-air is such a wonderful way to feel connected to the landscape, place, atmosphere, and the season. I strive to create that which is beautiful and open to interpretation.  I value of the formal elements of painting such as light, color, time of day, and the subject.  These principles come together to describe and create a deeper meaning both emotionally and historically.
