The Workbench is  an adorable little shop located in Sugar Loaf that is located next to the Bertoni Gallery. This shop features a plethora of local, diverse artisans. It is a place that artists can share their work, and skills. The shop is now open, with its official opening reception on June 23rd 12-5PM.

5% of sales will go to a worthy charity that will be chosen monthly by the co-op. The charities can be local, national or international.
The workbench is also a learning center.
June 8th,  4:30-6:00 p.m. will be our first teen beginner beading class.  Junior High through High School students are welcome. The class will supply everything needed for each teen to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces. You will walk away with a custom hand made collection of unique jewelry to give as a gift to your BFF  or the wear with your favorite dress or jeans. This class should be lots of fun! Please call to make a reservation, the $25.00 payment can be  made the day of the class (845)469-2958   location 1392A Kings Highway , Sugar Loaf N.Y. ( we are right next to Bertoni Gallery) offered by Suzanne O’Brien. Take a peek at Suzanne O’Brien’s jewelry

The store itself will have access to Bertoni Gallery’s sculpture garden, as well as their lovely two acres of property. If you have walked down Romer’s Alley lately, you have seen that there is a new crop of amazing artist calling Sugar Loaf their home. I think that Sugar Loaf is at the beginning of a renaissance.
