Here are two links to the two little 9 x 12 paintings I did last week in Newton. I positioned myself in the shade and caught a breeze, so I was pretty well off. I usually don’t paint at 12PM, I prefer the morning and evening light but with a street scene subject there are the strong shadows of buildings to play with. The paintings are there at Traillworks until August 14th along with the Contemporary Landscape exhibit. Newton has a quaint little Spring Street happening and Traillworks is a gem there.
