I am currently working on “The Sketchbook Project Limited Edition Vol. 1” it is a collaborative series of art books created by 5,000 artists from around the world.
With a little persuading from a friend, I signed up to do this project. My sketchbooks are very personal, and it will be hard to part with it. At least I can go visit it at the Brooklyn Library. Here is the link:

My completed sketchbook is due on April 30th. I have my drafting table set up with mixed media supplies and this book will be my 6:50AM daily practice for about 30-40 minutes each day. I’m trying not to think about the fact that I know others will see this. I usually create them with the intention that they are just for me, and I show them if I choose. How do I trick myself? and is that really necessary? I guess I just want to tap into the universes creative energy and not be self conscious about it.
