Today I painted a over 100 year old federal style building. While I was painting I had the pleasure of meeting author Mark Arnowitz. This building needed to be painted in the morning light with the entire left side illuminated. I was a little too close to the subject and struggled with the scale. Afterwards I went in to UD (Utopian Directions). It is a Utopian Bookstore, I had no idea what this place had transformed into. It was like I was invited into to someone else’s dream to play and explore. There was artwork, books and so many objects to delight the eye. What a lovely additon to Warwick.
