Painter Janet Howard-Fatta creates a variety of works, from representational still life’s & landscapes in oil depicting place and time, to figurative works in wet and dry media. Her work shows a relationship with paint and the world all around her. Janet received a BFA in painting at Pratt Institute most influenced by two of her professors, color theorist Mary Buckley and Al Blaustein’s draughtsmanship. Janet lives, teaches & plays in Warwick, NY with her husband, sculptor, Louis Fatta, two children and one very big black retriever.
